Ahhh days off how I love thee. Seriously though, 2nd day in a row I didn't go into work, starting to freak out a little. I went for another nature hike last night, ran into 3 families of deer. Seems to be the same ones as before, they like the lush greenery and this massive peach tree. Tonight I'm bringing my camera, although Murphy's law means I won't see shit. It was a little sketchy last night, one of the Doe's took exception to how close I got. She actually took a step towards me to defend her fawn, which was clutching to mommies hip. Pretty balsie since i am by no means a small individual. I did the smart thing though, stayed still until she didn't perceive me as a threat and moved her young further into the field away from the trail.

Big bitch. a good 180lbs and almost 6' on all fours. Problem is they balance on the hind legs and attack with the front hooves, like a Kangaroo, only armed. Still, need to use my camera. I'm determined not to buy any DSLR until I get the finer points down with this one. That and I don't need another damn camera, I already own 4. So many options to choose from though. This thing does just about anything i could want, but I can't change the lens so I'm still limited.

Oh well, I'll see how it goes. Maybe I'll do a massive picture dump later.

Time to go grab the world by the hair and make it call my name.
