FREE SEX!!! Got your attention? Awesome, in this day in age the only thing we all have to do to get screwed is exist, just look at taxes. Now I read that the Canadian Government is going to monitor blogs and Facebook, holy Orwell. Americans have it no better, two words Patriot Act. Its wonderful to see big business capitalize on suffering, hence the oil prices. There is no shortage as of yet, and thanks to Alberta, there wouldn't be for quite some time. Just wait until all the big crude companies release their quarterly earnings of however many BILLIONS they made, you'll never look at your heating/gas bills the same. Thats right, they are two knuckles deep right now, no lube, no dinner, not even a nibble on the ear.
And where is the intervention for the poor Libyan's? Invasion of Afghanistan, then Iraq because hey, why not their leader did something sometime, and was no longer useful to the current regime. How many Libyans died last week alone? Thats not years ago, thats pretty fucking present. Lets talk some more, sure, and hey don't forget aide, I'm sure it'll get to the right people
. Can't afford it you say? It's all good we'll just raise gas prices and maybe add a tax or two.
Maybe we shouldn't get involved because we have enough problems at home, I can see an argument for that; however, precedent has already been set. How many lives of young women and men have been shit away over the last decade in the name of freedom? These fine souls dedicated their lives, standing up for the rest of us in the face of adversity, and were summarily discarded. They fought because we told them the cause was just, and how many of those loved ones left behind, friend or family, can say they understand?
Now their pulling our hair, and yanking our head back with each stroke.
Now the ripple effect, the smack that ass approach to economics. Spend so much money overseas fighting, and offering aide to any disaster that happens, and your own domestic problems go untouched. Everyone wants to help a friend or neighbor, especially in times of strife. But if you have little to take care of you and yours, who among us would give knowing that your own will do without? Not really helping then are we, just trading places to become the unfortunate.
I'm tired of seeing my countrymen hungry, cold, and with no means to support those they love. Of our elderly unable to feed themselves, shuffling along, silently wishing that death will claim them because that is the only way to leave anything to their kids. Of our children unable to live a life, or start their own family because rent is so overbearing when compared to wage that they need to live with four people just to move out.
Our governments, public servants, like they know what it means to serve their country, would have us believe that we are healing that the system will improve. That jobs are being created, and the worst is past us. All I hear is "shhh, its okay just relax" while we all get the shaft.
There are those of you who read this that may think I'm wrong to want to change things, that I should trust implicitly and conform. I'm not one for existing on my knees, looking up at the establishment and trying to gargle "thank you" with my mouth full, but to each their own. Just don't forget to wipe your chin afterwords.
Until next time SG land,
Challenge Everything.
