i met a truly brilliant woman yesterday: she is a breast cancer patient.
she has had the surgery, finished radiation treatments and is due to begin chemo shortly.
her outlook on everything was so bright.
her and her friend spoke openly about her cancer, when so much of the world uses hushed tones on this subject.
she could laugh at her cancer and she encouraged others to do so as well.
she was my favorite person of this weekend.
when i meet people such as this i find my faith in life restored.
i hope i can take her inspirational outlook as i run into hardships through out this journey.
