I think I'm having a late 80's early 90's moment!
Today I'm listening to Matson Jones and The Popguns:
So good.
I love these songs. Especially the Popguns one.
This is very much me. That era.
I also feel the need to watch Slacker!:
Had a really nice day yesterday. Played some great polo in the sun before going over to my friends place where dinner had been prepared. My good friend Mat's girlfriend is Swedish and wanted to make a tradition Swedish easter feast. Wow it was awesome. I could eat that forever. We then went to our local pub for cider and laughs. I think we were all more drunk than we realized. We threw pistachios at each other and made such a mess.
On the way home I picked several flowers and small leafy branches, out of the gardens we passed by, and made a wild bouquet which was so lovely. I gave them to Therese as a thankyou for dinner.
Such a romantic I know!
We then back to their place and Jim got out his vintage projector and old 8mm films that his uncle made when he was young. We watched them in silence with the flickering of the reels as the only sound. His uncle was riding on his motorbike through Europe with his girlfriend on the back without a care in the world. Just being in love.
Everything was lovely. I returned home at 3:30am. There laid out on the kitchen table was a track bike in pieces waiting to be cleaned and put back together. I picked up a crank arm and felt really happy.
And then drifted away to bed. Perfect.
This morning there is candle wax all over my shoes. I now remember drawing pictures with a candle while Jim photographed on a slow shutter speed. That was just too good. He drew a picture of a vagina!!!!! It was so pretty too! Ha!
What fun!

"Late '80s, early '90s"... no thanks, that would put me in a non-traditional uniform in an unconventional classroom. It was fun, but not for a do-over.
Have a pedal-riffic day!
And I can't wait to ride on the wrong side of the road. x
