i just found out that my car is going to cost $5,000 to fix.
meanwhile i have $17 in checking,
(way to hold on to that financial aid--couldn't even make it to the end of the semester)
and $26 in savings,
(hey, i'm a poor college student, imagine that!)
and no job,
(thanks, starbucks, knew it was too good to be true)
and a 3 and 1/2 hour
(meaning 7 hours per day)
bus ride to school,
(which costs me over $5 per trip),
and now i get to call my dad to ask for help,
(who i'm pretty sure i haven't talked on the phone to since the accident)
and my grandmother, too,
(even though i missed her birthday yesterday).
but i'm living in a house instead of a trailer...
and i'm truly happy for the first time in over a year.
