Well about 2 weeks after the first surgery, I had surgery to remove Larry.
Parrotid gland removed... you know... just in case
1st level of lymph nodes removed.
There was some slight damage to the facial nerves resulting in the right side of my mouth resting a tad lower and a slightly lopsided smile.
I didnt end up having chemo... Instead a new type drug.
Immunotherapy. Takes my immune system out of caretaker mode and puts it to work full time supercharged.
The drug... It's called Nivolumab
For the first 3 months treatment every 14 days... then once a month with my last treatment Sept 2019.
I am now almost 4 years cancer free.
