Not much to say, still, but abarat asked me for an update, so here it is

I got my ass handed to me at work these past two weeks. I was at the office at 4 am a few times, and some days I just worked non-stop, juggling. I did hit a home run, though, because I figured out a way to solve a problem that could have messed thing up for a client, and one of the partners who never gives feedback came by and complimented me on my work. Felt good to get some acknowledgment, especially as the newbie who is not supposed to know anything.

I am pretty run down, though. With work and bar study, I have not had much time to connect to people, and getting home stressed to an empty apartment sometimes gets under my skin. I like my work, but it cannot be the only source of meaning in my life. I do miss having a source of comfort, and I have been missing my family more than usual these days.

Asides from my endearingly flaky friend, I am happy to see that fatality is back. Some people just exude kindness, and she is one of those. It makes me happy to hear from her.

That is it for now, kids. Ill be a bit crazy until the end of February, but I have every intention of surviving.
