"Yo aiiyo people wonderin' where the fuck I been
At the VIP section they ain't lettin' me in
They say; maybe if you had Dr. Dre or Timbaland
They say; a white boy need a black boy to win
Uhh Bubba Sparxx did it and so did Slim
Just Blaze is hot now why don't you get with him?"
A quick review and a quick look forward:
Yesterday was a day of sheer pleasure and sadness.
The day began around 8:15am when we awoke and showered and went out to breakfat. Then, after dealing with a million roadblocks in the city of Pittsburgh, we set off for Columbus.
Once in the city we tried to find a sports bar, but apparently no one there likes sports.
So we were unable to watch the Eagles game. Which really made my buddy sad.
We had a pretty enjoyable time at Gordon Birsch (sp?) taking in some light lagers and some delicious food. Their Buffalo Chicken Pizza was excellent.
From there we went over to Red Tavern and watched the first half of the Steeler game.
It wasn't until later in the night when we found out they had lost. I think I might cry myself to sleep tonight.
Anyways, we just so happened to be very drunk and under the influence of that green substance used by hippies and thugs alike.
Opening band of the night? Hella. Eh. We were still a little drunk but I give them props for trying. Noise-core can only be appreciated by a select few.
The Mars Volta played second, which really set the mood.
They put a ton of energy into the show, and while it was tough to understand the lyrics, the music carried the show.
Once System of a Down hit the stage, I can't explain anymore. They are my favorite band, and even though the shirt I was wearing was covered in gallons of sweat, it was a great time. That is all that needs said.
Two weeks and I work daylight. FINALLY! It will be a rough opening week as I have the Steeler game and the first roller hockey game of the season, but well worth it.
Well, I'm off to play some Euchre.
Peace.

"I'm a dip-dip diverse, socializer
I'm a hoof flat top rule, in eighty niner
They say Rugged, by now, you should of at least blown
It's funny, I'm mad famous for being unknown
I'm just a dirty motherfucker, they hate my guts
All I talk about is bitches, and bustin' nuts
Yeah, I got a foul mouth, yeah, I cuss too much
I'm just so Ricky Ricardo, ri-di-cu-lous
And I ain't got no fly whip, I still ride the bus
I got Mitch Blood Green on the scene with us
Hospitable, hitable, cooler, than Jacob who criminal
Miracle, lyrical, take every syllable literal
Little riddle, profitable, visible, iritibal
Little brittle, pitiful, for so through little, you tickle, you typical
Yeah, I talk shit, I'm cocky with it
It's hard for you to admit it, but I'm one of the best in it"
