"Your sins into me."
That song will be the first played at my wedding. One day.
I'm very egotistical, and very interested in others opinions.

Daydreaming
I can see your heart beat,
through a beautiful piece of cloth.
Sights of an endless supply of wealth,
with love and adoration to follow.
More and more I feel the future is falling,
my future is failing and nothing will save
it from the inevitable.
A happy home, filled with laughter and
love, which comes from our entire family.
Reuniting with friends from afar whom
happily share their similar life paths.
Another phone call to distrupt the events,
another sobbing loved one.
Awoken by the idea of another day, I shut
my myslef closed once more, to view the
world through imaginary eyes.
Untitled
Am I powerful enough to withstand
The lackluster attempts you command?
Your focus is fiction, the work of a star.
Yet I remain, insane, in need of you more.
I know what it's like.
You feel that I don't.
I know you can change.
You feel like you won't.
While my words ring simple.
No skill, no thrill.
You'll get the idea,
Don't worry, I know you will.
A Far Cry
hollow hearts are for
the weak as
the words of the proud
lend a hand to the meek
a great love meets a
great disappointment
two weeks a year
bunched together as
one where teards
form rivers flowing
under the sun
a great love turns
to a great disappointment
Confused/Relieved
Wasn't lost in your beauty;
Your skin (*cough*) or your hair.
But in the condescendence.
Your sultry little stare.
For I was alone,
My chance to atone.
And to boost my ego,
Upon a higher throne.
Released from your world,
Welcomed into another.
Painfully perfect.
Thankfully perfect.
So Sad So Cold
a system of silly little thoughts
you're beauty fills the minds of all
irreversible and misunderstood
a sickness of paranoia sets in
simply pathetic and so coldy forgiving
a loner, a lover, a liar through and through
questions arise only in time
for one to be dropped
i'm not as tired as i seem to be.
i'm not as afraid as i seem to be.
if only these walls could talk?
if only this mind could walk
or run, run further than the eye can see
then all would be lost and forgiven.
Grown Up
why must the ridiculous taste so sweet
when the reflection in your skin
forces the savory lust and love in my heart
no future without failure
no success from a lack of perseverance
when life has skipped a beat and the
time to grow up has reared its beautiful head
make sure you take hold
pay attention to detail
and never give up
You Have Always Known
She knows.
times are changing, whether for the better
quicky and swifty, now i've upset her
a fourtune of pain with wealth unending
to much love to keep on pretending
the feeling is freeing, slightly unnerving
drving me crazy, not paying attention, i'm swaying and swerving
explanations come quickly, afraid of losing you daily
superstitions are useless, when i'm loving you madly
when boredom hits bottom, life is for real
the air becomes thick, the wounds slow to heal
being alone, not knowing what's next
been through it all, what's left to expect
time for an ending, but beginning another
simple and sadistic, starring deep into the eyes of a lover
happy for a change, cause few things are exciting
real and unique, this one is enticing
My favorite is the last one. Although I don't feel the same as I did when I wrote it. It is the only poem I have ever given to someone as a gift. She doesn't deserve it, but I would never take it back.
