i feel SO much better today. i fell into an 11 hour coma last night. i woke up much later than i should have, but i don't care! god- i needed that.
i went grocery shopping at my favorite store today- the canned foods grocery outlet. they had orange and red brew hooch for 3.99 a six pack. i've only tried the lemon, but i love it- it tastes just like sparkling lemonade. even if i wasn't poor, i'd still shop there anyway, just because you can find the weirdest shit there. all kinds of weird foreign stuff (like the hebrew tang i once found there) and regional foods (like, they sometimes have stuff from piggly wiggly, which is non-existent in california). my favorite things that i've found there were the George Jones Country Gold Cat Food (it had a picture of george jones on it, with a gold record behind him; my kitties loved it, by the way...), and the cans of Hormel pork brains 'in milk gravy'- i bought one for every one i know. the best thing about the pork brains was that on the back of the can was a recipe for scrambled eggs and brains, and the first step was to 'drain brains.'
i've been feeling kind of blue about something for the past few days, so yesterday i bought some coty airspun loose powder, just like i used to wear in high school. god- that smell takes me back...
