I've been doing a lot of femism reading recently specifically pertaining to South african women's poetry and I must say it's all a bit overwhelming. I mean if we as women are so truly and constantly oppressed even subconsciously in every facet of our lives how the hell are we supposed to separate what we do for ourselves and what we are intrinsically motivated to do and not? Also tbh most of what I've read has far from freed my mind but rather just made me feel guilty that I'm somehow unconsciously contribute to the patriarchal opression of women. Thoughts? Are we as members of Sg contributing to the objectifying of women? I cannot argue that we do but I'm a lot of feminist authors can.

This has been on my mind for years since I've wanted to be an SG

One thing I've never understood about the anti-sexuality faction of feminists is what they think should or could be done to stop people from wanting to see women naked? do they think men can all just become asexual at will? and if they do wouldn't that cause more problems than it would fix.
