So, right now I am at work (obviously not doing work at the moment) and I am about to leave for two weeks for my honeymoon in Italy. I am extremely excited and a little nervous for many reasons...
1. I have never been out of the country before
2. I don't feel very prepared for the trip
3. I barely know any Italian
Hopefully none of these things matter as much as I think they do. Plus, my wife has been to Italy before and many parts of Europe, so she should be much more calm than I will be. Regardless, I am sure I will have a good time overall. My itinerary is, first, a week in Florence with a day trip to Sienna followed by a week in Rome, with a day trip to Pompeii. My wife and I are staying in B&B's the whole time, as close to the city as possible. Hopefully this gives us more of an authentic experience. So, hopefully everyone has a good two weeks, and I let you know how Italy was.
