So.
Yeah.
Well, as you can see from my profile, I'm over in Spring Hill, Fl., not in New Orleans. "Why?", you ask? What are you stupid? Is your head in a hole? New Orleans will cease to be after monday. The entire city will be under about 10-20 feet of water. Goodbye G4, goodbye PC, goodbye brand new $1300 mattress, goodbye SWR 4x10 + horn Cabinet, goodbye everything else i didn't bring with me. Oh well. That sucks. Well, I'm gonna eat breakfast and crash. But i'll have an internet connection at my disposal until i leave, so i'll actually be able to interact with everyone again. Woohoo.

Yawn.
So i had a sort of nap, but my brain is still fried. I totally had something to say but alas, it has escaped my mind. I just keep on laughing at the fact that my home will soon be under water. It figures. Funny thing is, I don't care that much. Yeah, it sucks that i'll have lost half my possesions, but whatever, keep on moving forward. It almost disturbs me how little detrimental things actually phase me. I guess thats just part of being a realist (usually referred to as a Pessimist by most people). The world is just a wretched place, so you're never let down. That plus emotions are weak. Heehee
So, i'm assuming (as i usually do) worst case scenario. New Orleans will no longer exist. Looks like i'll be looking for a job somewhere else. So, anyone in a cool place to live who knows of a place looking for an audio engineer or bassist, i'm open to suggestions. I might just be moving . . .again.
I'm just hoping the video cameras all over New Orleans are working and i can get live footage of the destruction. If my lively-hood, home, job, and belongings are going to be ruined, i better be able to watch it all come crumbling down.
So, just to keep thing interactive, here are all the places i've lived. (not including my car or those brief "homeless" periods such as now)
Brooklyn, NY
Staten Island, NY
Rochester, NY
Purchase, NY
New Orleans, LA
Where are all the places you have lived?

ugg. . . 4:30 AM Eastern and i still can't sleep,
*******************
One hour later and i found this:
Corner of Napolean and Tchopitoulas. Merely down the block from my home.
And this:
Click on the one that says "Street Car Cam" or the one that says "Bead Cam". They're both the same one. And they're literally a strong baseball throw away from my home. If you look on the top right of the pic you can click Live Video for exactly what my corner looks like to the minute.
Thanks to the wonders of the internet i can watch as my block fills up with water! WEEEE!
Yeah.

I hope everything will be okay! You are the first thing I thought about when I heard about the hurricane. Not that you're a thing, I...you know what I mean.

Come to Portland, dude for real. I've got space for you until you find a place, and they need sound engineers and bass players here.
