If you go to the PDX Pop Now! website and enter "Prophetnoise" in their requests page, i will love you forever. Or just be nice to you. Or be really nasty to you if that's the sort of thing you're into. This is Equal Op.
I've submitted a track to be considered for their 2008 PDX Pop Now! compilation double CD, and could use all the help i can get. You don't even have to be from portland. If you read below, you'll know why it's even more important these days
**** from last journal entry:
It seems as though i'm not happy unless the possibility of impending doom is looming over my head.
I put in notice at work. My last day is the Ides of March. Fitting because without me the place will fall apart.
But i'm not looking for a 'new job.' There's no reason for me to waste any time nor effort trying to find another job i don't want that i'm overqualified for. I could put just as much effort into making music full time; having music pay my bills again like it once did. I'm really good at the things i do, and i do enough of those things that there is no reason why i can't replace my meager income with those things, all while being happy and challenged.
So, by March 15th, i'm either going to be successful, or up shit's creek. But i haven't been this happy since i lived in New Orleans 2.5 years ago. In fact, i haven't been happy since i lived in NOLA 2.5 years ago.
This roller-coaster has no safety bar

I think I'm alive. Unless the afterlife looks a lot like Bushwick.
