-I hate my job.
-I hate waking up in the morning knowing the only thing i have to wake up for is work.
-I hate that i can afford a weekly trip to the coffee shop to treat myself to a chai tea. That is the extent of my discresionary funds; my free time/fun. Some weeks that's the only reason i leave the apartment, save work and food shopping.
-I hate when i'm on a fucking roll, and things beyond my own volition are holding me back. If i slack, i have no one to blame but myself and no right being angry. But when i bust my ass and some stupid roadblock impedes my progress, i get very angry.
-Case in point: All the hard parts about getting my album finished and released i'm taking in stride. But something stupid and almost unrelated is holding me back. I need to sell my old computer/recording rig to get a new peice of gear, without which i can't do a final mixdown and can't finish my work. I'm basically just sitting here waiting. I hate that when there are tons of things to be done and i can't do any of them.
-I hate that i'm so fucking disenfranchised lately. I mean, i love being angry, it keeps me motivated and reminds me that i'm not becoming a complacent "adult". But 24/7 for the past 6 months without a sign of any improvement any time soon is really starting to wear my soul thin.
-I hate helping customers at my job. Even the nice ones. Especially the nice ones. I do not belong in the service industry. Apparently, that's all this city has for me here in Portland. What a fucking paradigm.
-This weekend is exactly 1 year since i got to PDX. I've accomplished a mere fraction of what i did formyself in NOLA, and feel like i worked 10 times as harder getting 10 times less.
Someone buy my damn rig:

-I'm pretty sure i have most of the CDs, DVDs, paperwork, and manuals that came with this gear.
This is pretty much a recording studio in one unit. All you need are some mics, cables, and studio-monitors (the audio kind) I know several people who are running similar or larger set-ups on less powerful G4s.
$2400
If you only want to buy a part of the system, make me an offer. I'd much rather sell this as a whole unit.

Hey. I just got back into town late last night. The wife and I are still going over some stuff and looking at shipping. I'm not so sure, with holidays and the kids 5th birthday coming up, that we can pull it off right now. That is, if you even still have it. I mentioned the rig to a few other people I know, so if not me, maybe someone else.
