Thanks again everyone for the bday wishes!
TONIGHT 9:00 PM - Tiger Bar
317 NW Broadway @ Everett, Portland, OR
Back To Reality.
Hungry Mob Headlines this monthly event. Tonight will feature some special changes in the instrumental line-up, and much new and 'live-remixed' material. Of course, Mic Crenshaw and Toni Hill will be holding down the lyrical content. I'll be laying down the rumble on the 6 string bass.
Also Playing This Saturday:
Maximum Leisure, featuring Storm of Storm & the Balls and Keith Schrieiner of Auditory Sculpture and Dahlia),
Suckapunch, featuring Hungry Mob's Mic Crenshaw on vocals and Keith Shreiner tearing up the beats live with his laptop.
DJ Venom 33.3 spinning a soulfull funk between sets.
Live creation of visual arts-to-music by Detour Graphics
Back to Reality is an ongoing monthly event in which Hungry Mob collaborates with various local and national artists to bring the people quality music & art. Add me as a friend on SG or myspace to stay updated!
...oh yeah. And this is also my Birthday Weekend. So come lest i cry. heehee! WOOT
I think Grey Goose and the Portland Mercury are sponsoring the event as part of the Up/Down festival here in PDX, so drink specials are probably happening too.
Hopefully, if i get enough bday $$ and $$$ from the gig this saturday, i'm going to get my first tattoo. i had the idea in a stroke of genius the other day and now i feel weird not having it.
It will simply say:
Evolve
On the inside of my lower lip.
Being poor i probably have better things to spend my $$ on, but fuck, i'm poor, and i never spend any money on anything ever. At least this shit will last for a while unlike everything else i can spend my $$ on.

Oh, sorry I wasn't there Sat; I thought I had some plans but err turned out to be not on.
oddioblender:
at least there's interesting stuff to spend your money on there -- all we have here is booze and chain stores.
