I'm very close to replacing my PC with my laptop in my studio. When that happens i'll have an old PC and nothing to do with it. Any suggestions on what to do with an old computer? It's gotta be able to do something, right?
PII 350MHz 2 or 8 gig HD (i forget how big) Win 98.
I was thinking of switching it to Linux but then what? It's the same old computer with the same old nothing to do, just with a different OS.
And if i did switch to linux, how would i pick which distrobution? They don't really explain what distro is good for what. What each's specialy is.

use your pc for storing samples, maybe? it's always nice to have an extra HD around - perhaps you can format it as backup space for your laptop...
