Also, I totally forgot about this. You want a good reason why I was waiting to let her into the group? How about this:
"i am on this site so little that i don't remeber who people are on my list. i see the name, and i'm like who the hell is that? "
quoted DIRECTLY from her journal. And you wonder why I didn't feel it imperative to add her to the group when she admits she is never on here in the first place?
It's in the rules. BE ACTIVE. If your not, your not getting in.
Sorry if you find that unfair, but I aswell as many, many other regional group owners do not find it unfair.
I'm sorry if you have self esteem issues or whatever and feel like you think I think you are "less of a person" or whatever because you are inactive, but that is just silly, and reading waaaaaaaay too much into it. Again, I think you feel that I am singleing you out or something, but that is not the case. Did you not see the thread from last year and the one from a few days ago in which I said I was thinking about deleting inactive members from the group unless they commented? It's just the way it is. You don't have to like it, or understand it or even respect it. It's just the rules. Most reigonal groups have the same rule.
I think YOU are completely missing the point. So you admit that you are not active, which brings me to ask you, if you are not active, then what exactly do you bring to the group?
I just can't figure out what you don't understand about the rules. They have been there since day 1. If you never comment in the group in the first place, I don't see why you are fighting me on this. This was never about you in the first place, but when I went to leave a comment in VeganVixen's journal, I saw that you were disussing if I was going to let her in or not. That is what brought this all on. I'm sorry if you think it is unfair, but it is my choice to not let in and/or delete non-participating members.
And if you think I am being rude, I'm sorry, but had you not left the "get off your high horse" comment, then I would not feel like I am tired of explaining myself to someone how just showed up out of nowhere to give me a hard time. Because that is exactly what you are doing.
And I'm not too sure about the rules on SG either, but I'm pretty sure if someone in my group makes me feel uncomfortable, I can remove them. Please do not let it come to me even having to ask a Mod about what to do, just drop it. Seriously.
