Last night we all went out for my good friend erine's 22nd birthday. What a fiasco it was! It started out as a good night. Barnaby and I met up with Erine and her boyfriend, and some other friends who were already at the bar around 10. She was already pretty drunk, and was still drinking. She liked the presents we got her, and everyone was playing pool. The bouncer at this bar is one of our oldest friends, who used to date my sister, and who recently came back from the marines. Well, by midnight Erine was wasted and passed out on one of the couches. She had thrown up in the bathroom, and then became pretty incoherent. The bouncer (our friend) tried to tell us if she didn't wake up he would have to kick her out. Her boyfriend tried to wake her, but it was no use. I felt kinda bad because it must have been akward for him to throw her out, but he was just doing his job. Erine's boyfriend took her home to bed, and the rest of us decided to stay beacue there wasn't really anything we could do for her at that point. The bar got pretty rowdy. I got pushed pretty hard into the bar because of a fight, and there was a bachelor party with cop groomsmen who were making rude comments to one of my friends. There was a girl passing out free packs of cigaretts for a promotion, and one of the guys we were with somehow stole two cartons from her with out her noticing. The cartons ended up hidden in my purse, and then he proceded to flirt with the cigarette girl and he got her number! Then, just as we were about to leave because it was closing time, my friend Heather's purse got stolen. It was left unattened for no more than a couple of minuets, and we were all standing right next to the couch it was on. I don't know how none of us didn't notice someone take it. She was really upset, and we had to leave and drive her home with her balling her eyes out. On the walk back to the car she was pretty drunk, and really pissed about her purse so she kept on yelling "fucking people!", and i guess this car full of skinhead fucks though she was yelling at them and jumped out of the car to threaten us. Heather's boyfriend, who is kinda short and probably would have gotten he ass beat by 3 skinhead assholes stepped right up to them to defend his girl. It was sweet, but pretty stupid. Luckily, we all walked away with nothing happening. Apparently the fuck head who stole her purse made a bunch of phone calls to people in her cell phone and was saying all sorts of stupid thigs to them. I sometimes wonder what motivates people to do the things they do. It was an interesting night.
