So disappointing on the one hand, yet so great on the other. The big event I was looking forward to for my bday was seeing Type O Negative and going to Hell later. Most of my crowd are true geezers. I'm definitely a geezer by the numbers, but I still don't feel like one (or act like one). Of course, this now makes me wonder if I'm just becoming creepy old guy to people when I go out. But that's another story...
I was going out last night - even if it was alone. Melissa, Mary, Jan and one of her friends were supposed to join me - at least for the show, if not for Hell later. I met someone yesterday afternoon - a singer, Debbie. who said she was interested in going. First Mary backed out. She wasn't feeling that well. Then Debbie decided she had to stay at work cuz she needed the money (she's not a geezer). Then Melissa backed out cuz she's a bit tired and money is tight. When Jan showed up, her friends also backed out. So it was just the two of us.
Still - the show was GREAT. Never saw them live before.

I have slight band envy - no pics?
