Ran my local 10K yesterday, for something like the fifth time in six years. I've not been able to go out running as much as I'd like due to weather, laziness and other commitments, but I did a couple of weeks of building up distance and did it in 50 minutes, which is about right. I still think it's strange - for years, I did next-to-no exercise other than indoor climbing, and running never appealed. That's because no one told me that
a: It feels good (when you stop)
b: you can pace yourself with Sabbath riffs
