Autumn chill in the air,
at last you come out from hiding
Thank you for your blessing of winds,
blown at me cold from the north.
In this concrete desert heaven,
I welcome you, mother of change,
today I smell you in full,
and lay my head on your bosom.
Cloak and surround me,
fall and then winter queens,
give me respite
from this cruel desert sun.

Glad your week is going well.
And I am hoping the same about my glasses. My eyes are bothering me enough as is. I hope it will be a quick adjustment once the new glasses come in.
