Actual quote from my landlady in an attempt to intimidate and bully me:

"I have more money than you."



Doesn't she know that cliche went out of fashion along with Members Only jackets?

I told her I didn't care if she had more money than God because I have more common sense and more to protect than she does.

Apparently she also told my son when I wasn't in earshot, "your mother is a bitch."

I'm going to censor myself here so that what I say can't be held against me in a court of law later.

That wasn't a very nice or smart thing to say to my child.

Under this anger is hurt. I don't want this fight. I want to live in peace. But when a fight comes to my doorstep, I will defend myself and my family.
