Last night we ate so much sashimi and seared ahi, I think we got our omega 3's for the entire year:
I realize that today only feels significant because of the arbitrary meaning assigned to it, but it's not stopping me from feeling stoked as fuck about what might happen this year.
January 1st always brings lots of reflection on what previous years have been like and I'm continually amazed at the crazy path things take. I'm through even trying to pretend I know what my life is going to look like in 5 years. I figure we could be living on a boat, or in a condo in Seattle, or right here in my Swiss Family Robinson house. (I will put up lots of pictures of our treehouse bungalow in my next journal)
The point is, no one knows. I sure as hell don't. All I can do is squeeze as much life out of every day as I can. I know, it's so clich but I can't help it.
We went to the beach today. It was so beautiful. We picked a beach with no waves and at one point while I was floating tits up, soaking up the sun, Rob gave me a footrub. I'm telling you- It just doesn't get better than that.
We had a lot of fun and somewhere along the way, Rob and Q became very amused at the fact that I think the island of Maui looks like a lady. Apparently I'm the only one who references where I am on island this way.
This is me looking like Chris Farley after Quentin made me laugh really hard and took my picture. Jesus, I also have a massive zit forming. I must really love you guys to be posting it.
More and better pictures coming soon. I'm so happy to have my camera sort of working again. I need a new one so badly though.

There are far too many Post Secret cards that I love this week to post all my favorites, so I'll just post one. Go check out the rest.
And for those of you who are as excited about the potentially awesome forthcoming Firefly MMO:
I don't think it fits even in the blog tab, so you'll have to right click and view it that way.
Happy 2007 to you and yours.

Hell, I'm just glad someone else knew who Snow was...my brain tends to be a warehouse of useless (and forgotten) information.
