So I'd been feeling kind of disheartened about my job recently. We were supposed to have a building before I started and we still don't have one after 3 months. I don't have the technology I need, my contractors continually make it clear that they resent my being there and I kept thinking I'd soon be fired because corporate would eventually just decide to scrap Maui altogether.
Then I finally got a chance to look at how we're doing with our service quality. Since I've started, we've gone from consistently placing between 12/15 and 15/15 in ranking for locations in our division (all of Northern Cali and Hawaii) to now placing 1/15 and 2/15 every week. Keep in mind, I'm the only employee here so far, so when I say we, I just mean me and my contractors.
I'm probably being too vague for you to understand why this makes me so fucking happy but I'll just quantify it for you.
I am a rockstar.

I was planning on putting that near the top of the journal, but I figured that if people didn't rea the whole journal it was their own fault
