Son_of_PRock had a CAT scan and has a skull fracture. The MRI came back clear- no brain bleed, no blood clots, no need to spend the night in the hospital. Now he just has two wait until he doesn't feel sick and then wait two more weeks after that before he can do anything active.
He's miserable not being able to skate. I've never seen anyone look so sad while playing with a miniature skateboard.
I can't wait for this week to be over. I'm emotionally and physically exhausted and just want a weekend to chill with my boys. I'd really love to go up here if I thought my concussed little boy could handle the curvy roads.
On the bright side, my mom is letting us skip paying the rent for a month of two so we can save enough to get a house of our own. Still looking but I'd really like to find somewhere that will let us get a pet and I'm finding that to be a pretty formidable challenge. I know it'll be worth it though.

I'll be home on Wed the 11th. Then it's back to work. And hoping I don't have to come out to Oklahoma until April. All the travel this year has worn me out. Almost 25,000 miles on United alone.

Concussions are no fun, but it's good that's he internally sound.
