For those of you who have been wondering about the lovely lady in my profile picture..that is Dixie Cousins from Brisco County, Jr; possibly the best television show ever made. I want to have a picture of me up there again but I don't want an old one so for now, this works.

I went to see Prairie Home Companion with Mr. PRock, Stephanie13 and Shelton25 last night. It was funny. Plus, I have a bunch of free passes to these shows since my mom donated flowers to the film festival. And you can't beat being able to get a delicious meal and drinks out in the courtyard before the show. Meryl Streep, as always, was amazing. If you want to know what my mom is like, this character is almost exactly like her.

NEWS: I'm flying to Honolulu on September 11th to train for my new kick-ass job. I'm nervous about waking up at 4am once I start my actual job but I'll be off at 10am so it's not so bad. Siestas await.

Anyone have any suggestions for what I can wear that's business casual in an un-airconditioned warehouse where I will be package sorting? I'll be getting some helpers later on but I still can't wear anything too nice. I find khakis and polo shirts on women disgusting. I do have a few pairs of nice cargo pants that I skate in. I think I can tailor some polos to be more girl fitting (even the company ones they're going to give me). I almost bought this though:

In other news, now that I know how much money we'll both be making, I think I can commit to going to SXSW again this March. I'm sharing a hotel room with a girl I met there last year and we'll probably have countless friends crashing in the room too. Mr. PRock is probably coming this time. Everyone on my friends list should go too. (I'm talking to you Hopey! Remember how much you wished you had gone last year?)
