Dysfunctional Family Deja Vu!
I'm really looking forward to a time when I can wake up and go to sleep without my stomach in knots. I'm sure any of you that have had family members who are alcoholic and/or addicts can attest to the fact that trusting them if they're not in recovery is always a mistake.

I got another job offer today. It's the membership director for an amazing center for the visual arts. It's full time though and that would mean putting my son in the after school program, or maybe he could hang out at the youth center afterschool. You should see this place though. It's the most beautiful, peaceful place to work you can possibly imagine. It was hard not to take the job on the spot.
Anyway, I'd rather have the other job but I'm still waiting for my drug test to come back. I think it will be fine. If not, I'll take this other job. It's still pays a hell of a lot more than I ever made on the mainland.

I'm sorry for the lack of pictures. I realize I should be posting all the yummy food and beautiful sunsets and the PRock clan all sandy and seawater soaked from the beach but I'm too stressed to take pictures, much less upload them.
I promise, things will turn around in the next few months. (she says somewhat unconvincingly to herself)

Just take a deep breath when it comes to the family issues. Ohh!!! maybe we all can get the maui people together and have a picnic on the beach or something. It's a chance to get to know folks and it's family friendly! Who knows we'll come up with something.
