People are assholes. And personally, having been on Medicaid, the government insurance is better than the BS you have to deal with with a private insurance carrier. So, that point is moot.

I just got one, and mine covered it. It also covered some crowns. And it's paying for my IUD next week.

Well, the big one is sort of no brainer, as I'm pretty sure alive is better than dead as a sort of general rule. Unless maybe you plan on eating and/or wearing something, but even that could be debatable.
As far as the less tangible one(s), I'd say never acknowledging one's shortcomings and continuing to fuck up without ever having a chance at bettering oneself might sound more appealing, but it also is probably not.
