I am a graphic artist. I don't know, But here lately I feel like I can't compare to others in my field. I don't have any inspiration left when I pick up a piece of clay, or when sit down to draw. I don't feel like I can do anything, so I give up not even half way through the project. I'll go back to some of my older works and I think they look like they were done by a 12 year old. I strive for excellence in everything that I do, but here lately I feel that I have fallen short on my goals by a lot.
The weird thing is that I'm not upset by this. I see these cats making stuff look amazing and not even trying, but I think that this goes back to the age old question of talent vs an acquired skill set. I am good at what I do, but I want to be the best in every facet.
I look at this feeling of inadequacy as a good thing with the hope that it is what will make me better and make me move closer to my goals as being the best.

Can't help but feel a little disheartened but if you give it time and don't force it, all will fall into place again
