Had this little story floating around in my head, hope you like it:
In pickpocketing, as well as in life, the hardest part was in choosing the right moment. Getting anxious and acting too soon would get you noticed and caught for sure, while waiting too late would mean losing the opportunity completely. These were lessons best learned quickly by those who lived amongst the...

yikes, having time off makes me forget how involved I'm going to be this semester with my studies. I don't know how full time students do it...I'm only a part-time student myself (since I work part-time too) and I still feel pulled in a thousand different directions.
This semester we're shooting for:
Popular Religion of the West 1300-1700 (same guy who taught my Reformation of...

Gah, I'm not terribly sure if I want to grumble about relationship stuff on here, so I'll just leave it at that I'm not in the best mood right now.
Think I'm going to fix something to eat and do some reading. Try to calm my head a little, I feel like I'm thinking too much.

qdd:
I think too much all the time...that's part of the problem.

Ok, I had some words rattling around in my head and I had to get them down on paper before I could get some sleep. It's been a while since I've written any poetry, so please bear with me.
It is her whisper that stirs me at first,
and the sound of her breath
an unseen smile.

I haven't really thought much about my leg work, but there's so much room on the legs that I want something gorgeous and out there. haha.

Thank you for the comment.
Keep on writing. Those words are beautiful.

Another long day at work, done and over. Hazzah for that.
Monday is the beginning of the semester. I've got a mixture of excitement and anxiety towards that. Seems like my time off flew by without accomplishing anything, but I guess that's just how it goes.
Getting hungry now, off to fix something to eat.

Did have a VA appointment today though. Got a new doctor who talks WAY to fast. I kept getting the feeling the guy was trying to just get over with it and move on to the next appointment. He was checking my heart and would keep moving to the next spot before I even breathed in. Weird.

Can I just say how annoying work can be? Perhaps vent a little?
I honestly love my job. I work at a small deli/sandwhich type place and it pays the bills alright while I go to school. With the beginning of another year, our store tends to slow down a little (everyone is over their big catered parties and is now trying to work off...

It's ok, I don't plan to stay here forever, but I'm certainly learning from it though.
Work is always going to suck. I love venting about it too haha.

I've never been a terribly religious person. When I was younger I attended church a few times, mostly because of my mother's urging then anything else. This is not to say I'm not familiar with religious doctrine. Sure I can't shoot off religious passages like some bible crazy (which I'm very grateful for) but I am familar with several bibles, as well as eastern beliefs...

Ok, I love books.
I've got this reading list that seems to just keep growing. My nightstand is becoming a mess of all these different things, and being a history major certainly doesn't remedy that problem. There's just so much to learn about...so many things that I want to know.
There's a large bookcase that stands in the living room. It's huge and white and...

~Miyamoto Musashi The book of Five Rings
For those of you who don't know 17th century Japanese swordsmen, Musashi was the greatest swordsman who ever lived in Japan (over 60 duels, never lost) and he went on to write his book of the five rings to teach his style and heiho.
Awesome book.
