i love this greek fable
a scorpion is crawling through the forest searching for prey when he comes to a river that has been flooded from a recent rain storm needing to cross he calls to a swan and asks for a ride across the river. the swan said no you'll sting me and the scorpion replys no i promise i won't. the swan thinks a moment and decides he won't sting me cause we'll both die. so the swan bends down lets the scorpion climb on, about half way across the river the scorpion stings the swan, as the poison corses through his veins the swan crys why why did you sting me now we will both die, and the scorpion replys I'M A SCORPION, ITS WHO I AM, ITS WHAT I DO.
