"Little Big Man" is out in dvd this month here. Last time I saw it I was 8 or 9 and it moved me a lot, for many reasons. Hard to say which ones, since I was a child then. I think I was touched (already) by this man who didn't feel home either with a community or another, and was rejected by both. Also, it was the story of a slaughter, and I think the idea I have from America comes from this movie. White people killing indians at the sounds of flutes, thinking they're bringing civilization and only doing what's right. Didn't change much since then, did it ? "Dances with wolves" has been issued here as well, but the dvd edition is a total disaster. What a pity. Probably the only movie Costner should have done.
Do you people have strong memories of movies you saw in your childhood and didn't see since then ?
