Well here's a poem I wrote last night and another I wrote about the Tsunami thing. Hope ya like'em. I know you like the one -Cigarettes- Mallory but I don't think you've heard the other one.
-Cigarettes-
Cigarettes and sillouhets
Her shadows on the wall
Creeping through my bedroom door
She slips into the hall
I hear her still in whispers
Still see her in my dreams
And when a candle flickers
I know she's here with me
-Picking Up The Pieces-
They were mothers, fathers
Our children and friends
And there was nothing in life that could have prepared them for this
They were the people we loved
Now the people we'll miss
And I still don't know how I can dream after this
But I pick up the pieces
Wipe tears from my eyes
Carry the memories
And take one day at a time
-Cigarettes-
Cigarettes and sillouhets
Her shadows on the wall
Creeping through my bedroom door
She slips into the hall
I hear her still in whispers
Still see her in my dreams
And when a candle flickers
I know she's here with me
-Picking Up The Pieces-
They were mothers, fathers
Our children and friends
And there was nothing in life that could have prepared them for this
They were the people we loved
Now the people we'll miss
And I still don't know how I can dream after this
But I pick up the pieces
Wipe tears from my eyes
Carry the memories
And take one day at a time

I'm always happy to read your stuff! And you're quite the sweetie yourself
Trust me - I would LOVE to unplug the phones and sleep for three days.
BUT - until the granny-in-law goes into the nursing home next week, that's not an option.
Of COURSE you'll get a signed copy of my book, silly
