hmmmnn....i am sooo still a kid. always will be. i think its a choice we can all make. but its best to be a responsible kid-and i try to work on that. we all have responsibilities in life- but i think we can choose how we feel about those and we can behave in a way so as to not bring on too much grown up BS.

I know what you mean about music. For the longest time, I felt best represented by really angry songs - but I've mellowed a bit lately. One of my current faves is "Fall to Peices" by Velvet Revolver. The lyrics aren't terribly profound...but the longing in the singer's voice pulls at my heart.

Actually, that doesn't sound crazy at all. I had a similar dream when I was about 16. I felt like I was awake but I couldn't move. I could feel a presence at the foot of my bed and I knew it was something dark. Eventually I woke up completely but was afraid to get up. Slowly things started to feel normal again. At the time, I attributed it to the crazy satanic girl who sat behind my in psychology and all of her talk about demons somehow getting into my sub-conscious.
So...finally not sick anymore so I can work....and what happens? I get there and only get in three hours before it dumps snow. Oh well, we got all the snow allready on the roof shovled off so hopefully it doesn't snow too much more.

Thankfully, I got the alert that little Mr. 14 year old tools around the site in time to pull that pic BEFORE he saw it. That could have quickly led to it ending up printed out and blown to a massive size and hung outside my Dad's office. I've met many of my Dad's colleagues - they WOULD do it.

haha. I have a rather large obsessive-compulsive disorder. If my friends list goes all wonky, I panic every time I come to my page. So I get 10 friends and then set it to auto-decline.
Also, your poetry thread got bumped again. Try not to take that shit so personally. I wouldn't advise asking for critique on the boards again, although I didn't really read your first post as asking for a critique. I read it more as "Tell me it sucks if you want, I'm still going to post it." I only advise not doing it again, as per SG unwritten "rules" the boards aren't the place to do so. The poetry group, however, should give you actual critique without all of the rudeness. The boards are a bit too general, and you can't weed out which are serious and which are just taking the piss to be mean to the new guy (quite a syndrome around here, bandwagon jumping). Good luck
