So still on my Halloween kick I've decided to do a Joan of Arc costume from scratch. Mostly just a grey sweatshirt, some tights and a hooded tunic made of fabric from the fabric department at work with a spray painted cross on it. Religious, blurring gender lines, potentially insane, it fits me to a T.
At work, they've got me primarily on this late shift that ends at eleven. It's killing me. Especially when for no reason they want me to come in at eight on the following morning. I've adapted a little after a couple of weeks, but it's still a big pain in the neck. I am still having fun with all the Halloween merchandise, though. There was an entire afternoon I was casually walking around and assisting customers whilst carrying an axe. It actually made a pretty good pointer. Good times.
Also, IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE! In Startling 3D!

Maybe I can intern there for ninja skills!
And your costume design idea sounds excellent!
