I don't hate Valentines day. Far from it. I think it's a sweet and wonderful holiday. I mean, I'm all about the showing people I love them through tokens of affection, and I do like the chocolate. But ya know, the whole having it repeatedly thrown in your face that you're alone and that being with someone is so~o super-bad awesometastic that you're missing out is totally not something I like. But, ya know, that's typical. If I was in a relationship, I'd probably be annoying the folks who weren't as well, so I can't really hate them. I can however occasionally feel like kicking them. Hard. With pointy boots. Just so long as I don't follow through.
Also, I have a bit of a quandary. Yeah, quandary sounds like the right word. My folks are inevitably moving to Georgia with or without me. The thing is, Georgia has two art schools, SCAD, from which I have an arch rival and a good childhood friend attending and the Art Institute, both of which I could get in state tuition with if I moved to Georgia with my folks and got an ID. On the other hand, the school I was previously at, in Knoxville, where I've become rather attached to, does not have art programs as good as those two schools, but has a kick ass Psychology program, which I kinda want to go into as well. But then there's the matter of out-of-state tuition. I once convinced the school to give me the in-state tuition, but not sure if that'd work again. So now I gotta figure out what I want to pursue first, Psych or art and where and when.
