i'm back from tha dead, and feelin sweet...
so here is sumthin for yalls sweet tooth.
the shadows slowly unfurled as the evening sun was making its retreat to the underworld. the shadow stretching towards the stream was that of the mighty oak I sat beneath. Autumn was approaching, and rumors of its arrival had already startled the trees into changing the colors of their leaves. red and golden leaves bathed me in the glory of the season.
i lay with one foot planted firmly against the embankment of the stream, and allowed the other to hang in the coolness of the water. every now and then i heard the splash of a fish playing, or something else, but it mattered not, as i was fully engrossed in my content existence.
it was in this state that i first laid eyes upon her soft silhouette, and what a silhouette at that, for it struck me as that of an angels.
beauty shone from her as if dawn had just arrived. so enchanting was she not even the moon could escape her magic, for she slowly drew him from his hiding behind the trees. even the stars came out to meet her, or perhaps to comfort her grief for moon in the lonely night sky. either way, she had touched them.
in that first moment she had become my heart, and my love for her had stirred me from some ancient slumber, and i felt anew with a greater life. she began to make her way in my direction, and i was frozen by some unseen force that grew stronger with each of her steps.
she did not see me at first, as i laid in the shadow of the mighty oak. she sang a graceful song as she approached. the sound of it was like honey to my ears. all other sounds drowned in her sweet melody.
thats enough for now. im going to bed. oh how i need the sleep...
