I didn't take photos at D'Vijff Vlieghen, but it all looked amazing and tasted even better. Even the plain rice shocked me with its perfection.
The seasonal soup at De Beiaard, mustard and mustard greens. The waitstaff tried to talk me out of it, but I insisted that I like unusual, traditional things, and I ate most of it using all the delicious bread.
Cake with ice cream at Amnesia. I picked up smoking cigarettes for two ridiculous weeks. I don't even know why, but I figured out my mistake and stopped again. A funny thing happened when I ordered this cake. Groups of women sat down on either side of me between the time I placed my order and when they brought it to me, and I think everyone ordered something sweet. If I only had some game, eh?
I didn't take a photo of the Dutch Ossenworst at the Grand Cafe van Daele, a lovely place with a view of the SW corner of the Palace. Smoked beef seasoned with chilies, nutmeg and other spices, served uncooked with more of that fabulous Amsterdam bread. Here's the view from a seat by the window.

... a children's book on basic earth science in Dutch. It cost $1.

You've intrigued me, dear sir. The expression on my face when reading your ultimate ability resembled someone being distracted by a shiny object.
