Work has sucked the last few weeks. I have nothing much to do, so I spend my time on discussion boards here and elsewhere. My boss basically knows this and knows I'd prefer to be honing my skills and making money for the firm, but I guess he's having motivational problems.

I delight in the fact that every time I get a new task, I do the job well and quickly. Still, killing time doesn't suit me.

What do I do when I get home? I drum on my new kit
and post more on the boards blush

Cool kit. I used to play drums a little but am - or again, was - more of a guitarist ultimately.

Thank you - I appreciate it. I always consider being more active on the boards, but generally they are rather more out of control than I prefer before I get to them. I generally let the situation alone and figure I've aged out of the target demographic anyway, so let things be what they are here. This, however, was too much. I feel pretty creepy around here anyway, but I have nostalgia for what I used to think it was, and so here I am. Fairly week as a position, really ... anyway. I meant to say hi and thanks and I'm rambling.
