busy busy busy! that's me. so much going on for the rest of the month but im excited for all of it. and it keeps my mind off all my good friends being out of state....
the rain last night was amazing, stayed in and lounged around, the only sucky part when it rains so hard like that is that my direct tv cuts in and out. so i decided to watch the movies i rented like a week ago. i liked both of them a lot:
Time to Leave
A handsome, successful fashion photographer learns that he has a malignant brain tumor that will soon kill him. Hiding his diagnosis, he alienates his family and his young boyfriend, but during a short stay with his grandmother, his vulnerability is met with a big heart and sound advice. A chance encounter with a roadside cafe waitress results in an unusual bargain that provides a happy, playful dimension to the proceedings.
and this one -
Forgiving Dr. Mengele
Could you forgive a war criminal? Could you forgive your worst enemy if it released you from your past trauma?
FORGIVING DR. MENGELE tells the story of a shocking act of forgiveness by Auschwitz survivor Eva Mozes Kor and the firestorm of criticism it has provoked.
Eva and her twin sister, Miriam, were victims of Nazi doctor Josef Mengele's cruel genetic experiments--an experience that would haunt them their entire lives. We follow Eva's metamorphosis from embittered survivor to tireless advocate for reconciliation. This unexpected transformation was sparked when Eva, in an attempt to get information about the experiments, met with another former Auschwitz doctor.
Eva's ideas about justice, revenge and the possibility of healing through forgiveness--as well as the passionate opposition from other survivors--become a window to a larger discussion of the many ways people define forgiveness.

instarsia:
Yeah. i dance my ass off (ballroom and swing), but i also added a yoga class 3x a week (for balance and precision and lean muscle mass) meals high in protien and monosaturated fats (not the bad stuff) as well as completely quitting regular soda, all processed sugars and flour and only eating bread and fruit (that i bake with my own natural flour) on an empty stomach so that my body starts processing the fat reserves instead of using all the processed carbohydrates and storing the fat. I also try and drink at least a liter of water a day and on top of dance and yoga, i run a mile every night. So its alot of work. But i feel amazing!
