...>> Chic <<...
Yesterday was all about leaving traces of burgundy red lipstick on chipped white mugs at my local Starbucks. I sat and I gossiped with the girl about the blessings in our lives and the love in our hearts. We pored over magazines; our nails long and our fingers loaded with old fashioned rings, worn yet so delightfully chic.
She told me of a girl she once knew, a certain someone who was only a passing moment in her life, but whom she has never forgotten. I would like to send my love upwards to all those forgotten angels who touched peoples lives....if only for a moment.
This constant snow is getting me down. Public transport in England is corrupt and crap at the best of times. In times of extreme heat, a little chill, rain, ice, snow, leaves on the track, animals on the track, suicides at subsequent stations and trespassers on the line....there is no hope. Better to drag your sorry arse back home and put the kettle on.
Thus, I am sitting here, drinking spearmint tea and waiting for yesterdays leftovers to heat up in the oven, watching the time evade me and the snow thicken outside my windows.

public transport in the uk is a disgrace! the lack of planning at governmental level for snow is mindboggling! surely after the heavy snow (and lack of salt) last year, SOMEONE would have thought ahead?!?! incredible! x
