just when u think things cant get any worse...

late last night, aaron (my oldest friend whos been like a brother to me until a few weeks ago when we did the horizontal mambo) called me. he sounded all upset so i asked what was wrong and he told me that his girlfriend had broken up with him. i dont know if this makes me a horrible person but i felt a little bit relieved. then he tells me....are you ready for this one?

shes pregnant!!!!!!

oh, my! i didnt say anything for a while then i asked if that was a good thing or not. he said it was because he does love her and he knows shed be a great mother. OK. am i the only one whos baffled by this? i just said congratulations then he asked me what i thought about it. i told him if hes happy, then im happy for him...

even though it hurts a little bit and im not sure exactly why.


so ive had the same thought in my head since we spoke last night..."why cant i just find a nice guy that genuinely cares for me that DOESNT HAVE A GIRLFRIEND or A BAD REPUTATION?"
