Just had an AWESOME time with my friend who's training for his private pilot's license. Actually, he's already got that part. He's going for instrument flying certification, so he had to fly with a kind of blinder on so he would focus only on his instrument panel. We flew a small Cessna out of a small airport north of Baltimore all the way down to Salisbury near the eastern shore. After a quick landing and snack break, we were back up again and headed back home. He gave me his camera to take some pics (since he rarely gets to, having to pilot and stuff) and I'll see if I can get some of them from him to post here. It was a kind of hazy day, but we could see for about 4 or 5 miles when the clouds broke.
Having a pilot for a friend is definitely a cool perk.
