I was unemployed for four months, spending 30 hours a week or more looking for work in those months off and knew a lot of friends who are unemployed or underemployed. Scary stuff. My neighbor who I'm buddies with is now in the situation where she's probably going to decide not to pay her monthly health care payment because it's either that or eat.

So, now I got a job, and I'm having recurring dreams about a dear friend of mine who died in the late 90s and I wake up all depressed knowing that it's just a dream and I won't see her again.

So whatever he's going through right now, I'm sure it sucks. But all you can say is "things will get better. Have faith."

My former boss was a professional bowler. No, they don't make shit. I think only 3 or 4 of them in the whole world make 6 figures.

Anyways, I never told him what I bowled after bowling. My highest game ever is under his average.
