well i've had the car for a week now. it's pretty sweet. today i finally got the vacuum out and cleaned the inside out really well. and tomorrow after work i've got to hit the clerk's office and have the oil changed. then I think i'm going to stop by a friend's new studio and maybe play some guitar with her g/f (who i went to see play this evening. fantastic little gig at the way back of this bar. it was her and two other acoustic singer/songwriters. and instead of them each getting a specific block of time, they just all sat up there, or came and went as they pleased. it was very relaxed. it was a mostly covers show, and the crowd wasn't very large, but they're all quite funny people, so it was a mix of music and comedy. lots of dirty jokes, inside jokes ans o on. they played the best cover of 'tenacious d's kielbasa sausage and then went right into adams sandler's medium pace. haha it was terrific.

and it wasn't really hard to be at a bar and not drink... i was broke. and i still had a very awesome time.

i got coupons in the mail for $2 off a pack of camels. perfect timing. i can get them cheaper than the old not-as-ridiculous-as-this-five-dollar-pack-bullshit-price. i paid 2.70, and the smoke store up the road has a buy three packs get a dollar off going on too. i'm gonna stock up.

i've been so bored... I've been having a shitty time trying to burn cds. seems like it's been hit or miss with my computer and i can't pin-point the problem. but i've had better luck when using these lightscribe cds. I made my own design for one awhile back. scribed it and everything, but never put anything on the cd. now i can't stand the sight of it, so i've been making more.. and since they seem to burn without becoming coasters, it just makes sense to label them. So i'm wanting to get a huge ass stack of them and i'm going to start converting my library to cd... it's been so long that i only have a handful of the original cds. i probably left some in idaho and my many other moves.

(i just read that...damn i'm an exciting guy....guess i'm gonna read myself to sleep now. luckily, the folks at sybex can get me to sleep in 30 minutes or less...)

{for sometime i've been meaning to piece together a song. i wrote half of it yesterday at work, then wrote the music it to it last night...i'm still not sure if i like what i have}

i need a new hdd for my web computer. and more ram... way more ram..and more content.. but i've been up and running for 14 days and 7 hours. no more hitches..
