the new TOOL album is nearing completion!! talks of a 2005 release are circulating (maybe as soon as October!!). if you want to see some pics from the studio, pay their site a visit: ToolBand.com to get to the studio pics click on the news icon, then click on the newsletter icon in the sub-menu(even though the news page will be displayed by default, you still have to click on the news icon to see the sub-menus). There is also a rumor that the release will be a double-disk set, but no official word on that yet. i will try to update through my journal as the band releases more info. their album is being recorded with a great deal of secrecy, even more so than their 2000 release of Lateralus. more studio pics can be found on Adam Jones' (TOOL's guitarist) myspace account: Adam's Myspace i hope this has been helpful to my fellow TOOL's out there.
