OK so I thought it was about time to update. First things first:
May 24th: Phantom of the Opera at Her Majestys Theatre with Anonwhymous - AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
June 11th: Russell Howard at The Hammersmith Apollo with Anonwhymous - Awesome! it would be pretty hard to match Phantom, bit still very funny.
June 27th: Uni Results out: 2:2 - so close to a 2:1 but hey I know I tried my best.
July 5th: Job Centre to sign on to Job Seekers - DULL but necessary
July 8th: Ghost Stories at Duke of York Theatre with Anonwhymous
July 15th: GRADUATION!!! OK so I looked like a plonker in my oversized robes and a hat that (because it was 25 degree) made me feel slightly lightheaded but it was an AMAZING day and I am so glad that my two favourite boys where there to support me (anonwhymous and my flatmate). I also managed to rope another friend in so the four of us could go out for a meal in the evening
August 19th: 10 months for me and Anonwhymous
Since then not much has been happening. Between the housework, the job seeking and making an effort to catch up with friends (which I seem more terrible than I thought) I think I have already reached the point where several hours of my day are spent watching films or playing Wii/computer games (Angry Birds for the PC has wormed its way into my morning email check). I am being a bit productive in that I am selling bits and pieces on Ebay to earn some extra cash and so far I have made around 85 pound. However, I am not a sit on the sofa person so my frustration is growing rapidly but fingers crossed for some help from the job centre soon. I have an appointment with the DEA officer (disability - something - advisor) and she has suggested putting me onto a 4 week course for administration or customer services if I do not find a job by the time she sees me.
Things are steady and I can manage a smile at least once a day right now because I am in love, I have few financial worries and I have the possibility of making a new start next year if I move to London. This is what is important to me right now.
I hope that everyone out there in SG land is happy too. If not, listen to the song below and I hope it helps.
