What a week!
OK so its been just over a week since Amsterdam and I miss everyone so much, but I have had to get back into the swing of things and head off to Uni to do some work. I have 2 major problems
1: I have writers block, a 10,000 novella is not much good without a plot and somewhere to start from. Causey and Anonwhymous as well as some of my uni friends have been helping me crack the block, and I think I may have some draft ideas now, I need more paper and ink and possibly another week to come up with something concrete.
2: I have been abandoned to a community writer project by myself...a reminiscence project with the elderly, I need a placement, and 20hours worth of material ... ye ok, my lecturers have obviously not met the elderly in Stoke - the majority of people over 50 just want to make sure they have priority in the humbug aisle! Some of you have read about the episode with myself and a granny in Morrisons. SCARY!
Other than that I have had a really good week, I have stayed positive for the most part and have managed to pin down some dates for my next attendance to Meets inc:
Dec 4th : Bday meet: need somewhere to stay though
Jan 29th: Mega Bday meet:again somewhere to stay
rosieBlue's hen night extravaganza: to be decided when and where
Now that I have finally unpacked and washed all my things from Amsterdam, tidied the flat so it can be trashed from fresh and finally sent off my Deed poll form, I think I am ready to attack the American fiction module for tomorrows class....wish my luck x
