Ok, I don't know what channels ya'll watch, or if anyone even watches tv much, but I am sick of seeing the same commercial over and over again.
The Game Show Network airs a preview to the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" 17 times during one hour of "The Amazing Race". Ok, 17 may be a bit high, but it sure feels like 17 times an hour.
I've seen the same spot so many times - I already know what happens. Therefore, I don't feel like I need to see the movie. Which is kinda funny, since the point of the commercial is to try and get you to see the movie.

As for encores, everyone knows they're going to play more, but I think a band making us whoop and holler to show how much we love them and want them to play again is kind of self absorbed.
